Weather is always a good thing when it comes to California. You could be snowed in at your home in the Midwest, and California would be having 70-degree weather. You might run into rain depending on where you go in the state but it shouldn’t be too hard to plan around that.
In the summertime, California can get hot, especially in the desert areas but it will be a different type of heat from that in other parts of the country. The best thing to do is check out the weather during the time you plan to go to know what to expect and if you need to pack a sweatshirt or not.
There is plenty to do when you visit California. There are plenty of beaches to visit all along the coast. Those in Southern California are easier to swim in as the water is warmer. Those in the Northern part of the state are better for walking along and taking photos of. You can also take a drive along the coast.
When it comes to fun, California is the place to be. There is Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, Sea World, Six Flags, Universal Studios as well as zoos and smaller parks. You can spend two weeks there enjoying them all or just take a day or two to visit your favorite ones.
California also has mountains that you can visit. If you go in the winter you can usually find snow and have a snow day or take in a ski day. If you visit during other times of the year, there are a lot of camping, hiking, and fishing opportunities to explore.
While you are in California you should visit some of the bigger cities. San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Sea World are all good choices that have a lot to offer. You can take in the city, eat yummy food and learn more about what California is all about.
Whatever you decide to do in California, your trip will be a good one. There is so much to see and do and something for everyone in your family.
