MANASSAS, Va. —
Two apartment buildings were evacuated Sunday morning after a partial roof collapsed on the 10900 block of Coverstone Drive, in Manassas, according to Matt Smolsky, Assistant Fire Chief for Prince William County Fire Department.
Sixty-seven people were evacuated from two apartment buildings after a partial roof collapsed in one of the buildings, according to Matt Smolsky, Assistant Fire Chief for Prince William County Fire Department. The second building was evacuated for a “potential” roof collapse.
Snow was believed to be the cause of the roof collapse, according to Smolsky, but officials were investigating.
