THE HERO OF THE TWO WORLDS The 90th Giro d’Italia offers several subjects, starting from an exceptional homage: 4th July 2007 is the bicentenary of the birth of Giuseppe Garibaldi; the coming "pink race" pays him a great attention, together with the Celebration committee set up by the Ministry of National Heritage and Culture, celebrating him in Sardinia, the island remembering him forever. The Giro starts indeed from Caprera, the island where the Hero of the Two Worlds is buried.
